Sound the alarms. It's an absolutely massive week at Bandit as two new dogs, Honey and Lasso, have joined the family. One by way of a new team member (shoutout Lindsey) and one by way of a very wholesome quarter life crisis Rossi is having. Dogs, man. The best.
In other unrelated huge news, we're T-4 days away from that sweet, sweet daylight savings uno reverse card. Post-work runners, rejoice.
Speaking of uno, we've got a good one for you today... Behind the scenes of our Spring campaign, the race buns design story, an interview Mr. Young, some sonic travel, and a throwback to the original bandit—Bobbi Gibb.

The video team (Mack) was pulling double duty on set for the Spring campaign, filming editorial vignettes and capturing BTS action. Clayton Young made (more) headlines a few weeks back when he led the U.S. Olympic Marathon Trials for the better part of 26.2 miles, only to let his teammate Conner Mantz, step in front of him to break the tape. There's context, and say what you will, but that's the kind of teamwork and sportsmanship we like to see in the two athletes representing Team USA in Paris this summer. We chat with Clayton to understand his Olympic mindset.

Close your eyes. It's 7pm in Shibuya and you're looking for your first stop of the night. You enter into a thin building with a florescent hallway off the street. You take rickety stairs down and open the only door in the basement. The 70-something proprietor is spinning vinyl from his personal collection of 3,000 records, the ceilings are 8 feet and everything is dark wood, the vibes—immaculate. This is the soundtrack.

In 1966 before women were deemed "physiologically able" to run 26.2 miles by the then-Boston Marathon race director, Bobbi Gibb flew down Boylston Street bib-less in act she calls "civil disobedience for the greater good." Thus, the term "bandit" was born and a new era for women's running had begun. We met with Bobbi, one of the sport's greatest pioneers, to hear her full story (throwback).
