Grab a seat around the campfire, it's story time…
Many years ago (2022), we were scrambling to find our first ever pop-up location. This was over 30 pop-up activations ago, and if we're being 100 emoji, we had no idea what we were doing. But through some great friends, we found an amazing space at the former home of Whalebone Magazine at 328 Bleecker Street. Our first ever NYC Marathon pop-up was a special mix of chaos and magic. Rossi heat-pressing skeleton logos on product for hours before racing on Sunday (dnf). Tim racing after working 3 consecutive 12 hour shifts at the store (might as well of dnf'd). Truly a weekend the squad reminisces over fondly.
Fast forward to February of this year and Whalebone announced they were putting the space up for grabs. We immediately jumped on it. The chance to have our first major flagship in a space whose hallowed rooms and sketchy basement stairwell we had graced just a few months after releasing our first performance collection was an opportunity not to be missed. Before we even chatted with the landlord, we sprinted over (true story) to our friends at Rhythm Zero and asked if they'd be down to open their second location with us in this space. It was an immediate yes (post Vespa ride over to see it). And thus, the The Bandit Running Room was hatched.
This Saturday, we couldn't be more excited to invite you into our new home. The Noble Street store in Greenpoint (which isn't going anywhere), walked so Bleecker could run.
This is a special West Village Edition of the B-mail. We've got a behind the design of the store, favorite neighborhood picks from the co-founder of Infatuation, 5 dreams with Rhythm Zero, 10 things inside, and our exclusive Bleecker Street Collection. See you Saturday.
Ps. The apricot cornetto is still divine. Dare we say, more divine than ever.
