It's marathon race week and the streets are bracing themselves for 50,000+ runners and 3,000,000+ spectators over 26.2 beautiful relentless miles. To those running, soak in every moment. You trained for months to get to this day and we cannot wait to sacrifice our vocal cords to the race gawds for you. We'll be just after mile 12 on runner's right as you turn off Bedford and on to Manhattan. Trust yourself, pace yourself, and remember—the race doesn't start until you're over the Queensboro. We believe in you. Go out there and do your thing.
The doors to the Run City pop-up at 489 Broome Street open Thursday, 12PM for Members and Friday, 12PM for all. We've got the full capsule and a couple surprises in-store. Be sure to RSVP for any and all events over the weekend. We'll see you inside.

01 — Full capsule
Feast your sweet runner eyes on our largest pop-up capsule ever for the greatest race in the game (not not extraordinarily biased). Multiple new silhouettes debuting and a couple surprises quite literally in-store. We open the Run City doors to Members on Thurs at 12PM and to everyone 24 hours later. See you inside.

02 — Pop-up events
This marathon weekend has a lil bit of everything: a new take on the shakeout run, a dance party / cheer zone with our familia at Eavesdrop, a literal dystopian city built within our space on Broome Street (we're not supposed to have told you that yet), and maybe a surprise item or two (or three) not previously previewed... If anyone asks, no they didn't. *Billy on the street voice* And away... we... go.

03 — BTS
If the 1997 thriller The Game got together with the Gosling version of Blade Runner who was already hanging out with the Truman Show unbeknownst they were all within Ready Player One and then boom turns out it was Inception all along... that would not really be the Run City video, but you get the idea. Learn how the video came together and check out some electric BTS from sound designer, Samo Jurkovič.

Raw, nocturnal pulse. Stripped down, but cinematic. Subtle nods to noir crime titles. Fractured textures that mirror the city’s edge and grit. These were the first whispers in Ardith’s Proprietary Design Process™ nearly a year ago. From her cryptic moodboard folders (we’ve stopped asking for the passwords) to final product samples, this year’s Run City capsule is a study in controlled chaos—beauty born from the noise.

The Chief Engineer of our 16-week marathon training program, former profesh runner, and Bandit Community Head Honcho Stoven Finley says he’s guided over 5,000 runners to the starting line of the NYC Marathon. We have a standing rule to apply the Stove Conversion Rate™ to any number he says (divide it by 1.25) and call it a dizzy. Either way, the man’s a walking archive of race wisdom. Tap in.
